Abstract
THE RAPID ENVIRONMENTAL CHANGES NECESSITATING REVISION AND MODERNIZATION OF THE PUBLIC SAFETY PROGRAM ARE CITED. PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION, FISCAL AND POSITION ALLOCATION, ASSIGNMENT SCHEDULE, FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT, TRAINING AND EDUCATION, ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS, AND THE RESOURCE ALLOCATION PLAN ARE DISCUSSED UNDER OPERATIONAL ANALYSIS. THE CONTENT AND USE OF THE AUTOMATED INFORMATION SYSTEM IS DESCRIBED. FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS IN COMMUNICATIONS, MANAGEMENT INFORMATION MODELS, FIRE INSURANCE RATING, AND TECHNOLOGICAL IMPROVEMENTS ARE PROJECTED.
