Abstract
A SUMMARY OF THE PROGRAMS SELECTED AS INNOVATIVE AND POSSIBLY HELPFUL IN SOLVING CRIMINAL JUSTICE PROBLEMS IN VENTURA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, IS PROVIDED. THE SUMMARY SECTION DESCRIBES EACH PROGRAM'S GOALS, METHODS, RESULTS, AND POSSIBLE APPLICATION TO THE COUNTY'S NEEDS. MORE DETAILED DISCUSSIONS OF THE PROGRAMS ARE FURNISHED IN THE LATER HALF OF THE DOCUMENT. IN ADDITION TO ELABORATING ON THE MATERIAL COVERED IN THE FIRST SECTION, THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE ADDRESSED-PROVISIONS FOR PROGRAM EVALUATION, FUNDING AMOUNTS AND SOURCES, MODIFICATIONS SUGGESTED BY PROGRAM STAFF FOR FUTURE APPLICATIONS OF THE PROGRAM METHOD, AND SOURCES TO CONTACT FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.
