Abstract
PAPERS DEPICT THE MOTIVES FOR TERRORISM THROUGH INTERPRETATIONS IN MODERN FICTIONAL LITERATURE; DESCRIBE FEAR AS AN ESPECIALLY COMPLEX WEAPON FOR MODERN TERRORISM; DEFINE KIDNAPPING OF DIPLOMATS AS A TERRORIST STRATEGY; EXPLORE THE CLOSE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TERRORISM AND GUERRILLA WARFARE; AND IDENTIFY MOBILITY, WEAPONS TECHNOLOGY, AND ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS AS STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS OF INTERNATIONAL TERRORISM. STUDIES ON INTERNATIONAL TERRORISM COVER ITS EVOLUTION UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES AND IMPROVED MEANS OF COMMUNICATION; THE MANIFESTATIONS OF TERRORISM; THE DEVELOPMENT OF URBAN GUERRILLA ACTIVITIES IN LATIN AMERICA; AND FORCE AS THE BASIS FOR INTERNATIONAL TERRORISM ACCORDING TO THE PALESTINIANS AS WELL AS CONNECTIONS OF THE PALESTINIAN UNDERGROUND TO OTHER TERRORIST GROUPS. ALSO DISCUSSED ARE THE POLITICAL AND HISTORICAL SITUATION, THE ORGANIZATIONAL FORM, AND THE TACTICS OF THE TERRORISTS IN NORTHERN IRELAND; THE REVOLUTIONIZATION OF GUERRILLA WARFARE AND THE ANTITERRORIST CONCEPT OF ISRAEL CREATED TO COUNTERACT THE FEDAYEEN; AND SUCCESSFUL TACTICS FOR FIGHTING TERRORISM ALONG WITH MEASURES TAKEN BY THE UNITED NATIONS.
