This chapter provides a general summation of terrorism as it is today and threats to be vigilant about at the start of the 21st century.
Abstract
This final chapter examines some of the most critical issues that have emerged regarding terrorism. In this summation, problems associated with terrorism and weapons of mass destruction are discussed, as well as an examination of religiously motivated terrorism, techno terrorism, and pro-life terrorism and the apprehension and extradition of terrorists. In offering a look at what has happened in past conflicts involving serious terroristic violence, it hopes to provide the next generation with clues in finding ways to eliminate the conditions that separate people, ethnically, religiously, racially, tribally, politically, traditionally, and economically. Caution is stressed in using only the past as a guide in planning for the future. 3 endnotes
