THE SUBJECT OF CRIMINAL COURT PROCEEDINGS ARE COVERED THROUGH DISCUSSION OF LEGAL RESTRAINTS ON DETENTION, SIMILARITIES AND DIFFERENCES BETWEEN CIVIL AND CRIMINAL COURT PROCEEDINGS, PROPOSED REFORM OF CODE PROVISIONS ON CRIMINAL INDICTMENTS, LEGAL COSTS IN CRIMINAL TRIALS, LEGAL GUARANTEES ON PERSONAL FREEDOM, COURT PROCEEDINGS AND PENALTIES AGAINST DANGEROUS BUT NONCRIMINAL (SOCIALLY HANDICAPPED) PEOPLE, AND DUE PROCESS UNDER VARIOUS LATIN AMERICAN CONSTITUTIONS.
