Abstract
DEPO-PROVERA RADICALLY LOWERS MALE PLASMA TESTOSTERONE LEVELS TO THOSE TYPICAL OF THE FEMALE, OR LOWER, THEREBY RADICALLY REDUCING (SOMETIMES TO ZERO) POTENCY AND EVALUATION. THE CASE HISTORY OF THE FIRST MALE SEX OFFENDER (A BISEXUAL TRANSVESTITE WITH PEDOPHILIC HOMOSEXUAL INCEST) TO BE TREATED WITH THIS DRUG IS PRESENTED. EIGHT CASES WHICH HAVE BEEN TREATED IN THIS WAY ARE DESCRIBED IN TABULAR FORM ACCORDING TO THE TYPE OF CASE AND THE OFFENDER'S BEHAVIORAL RESPONSE TO THE DRUG. REFERENCES ARE LISTED.
