TO IMPROVE THE INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION REGARDING DEVELOPMENTS IN CORRECTIONAL THERAPY, THE DEVICE OF THE CRIMINOGRAM IS RECOMMENDED.
Abstract
THE CRIMINOGRAM PRESENTS A VISUAL LIFE HISTORY OF THE SUBJECT OFFENDER. BY THE USE OF LETTERS AND SIGNS DENOTING DELINQUENT ACTS, STAGES OF PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT, PSYCHOLOGICAL ATTITUDES AND EXPERIENCE, AND VARIOUS TYPES OF INTERVENTION, BASIC CRIMINOLOGICAL DATA MAY BE PUT IN A FORMAT FACILITATING TRANSMISSION AND INTERPRETATION. THE REPORT CONTAINS AN EXAMPLE OF THE USE OF A CRIMINOGRAPH TO ILLUSTRATE THE LIFE PATTERNS OF A PARTICULAR OFFENDER.
