A STATISTICAL SUMMARY IS INCLUDED. THE AUTHORS POINT OUT THAT FURTHER RESEARCH TO RESOLVE THE SINGLE VS. DOUBLE MANNING CONTROVERSY SHOULD CONSIDER SUCH ASPECTS AS TIME SPENT PER INCIDENT, ACCIDENT RATES, FATIGUE AND MORALE.
