PRESENTS EVIDENCE THAT THE ONE-MAN CAR IS MOST EFFICIENT FOR TRAFFIC PATROLING.
Abstract
IT IS MAINTAINED THAT A ONE-MAN CAR IS 30 PERCENT MORE EFFECTIVE IN ACHIEVING THE REQUIRED OBJECTIVE THAN IS THE TWO-MAN CAR. REDUCTION IN THE FREQUENCY OF ACCIDENTS, FASTER RESPONSE TIMES TO AN INCREASED NUMBER OF OFFENSES, CASES OF CONGESTION AND OTHER INCIDENTS ARE SAID TO BE THE FAVORABLE RESULTS OF EXPANDED USE OF ONE-MAN CARS.
