Abstract
THE FIRST HALF OF THIS BOOK, ON THE TRAFFIC POLICE, COVERS POLICE ADMINISTRATION, LEGAL LIMITATION, JURISDICTION OVER TRAFFIC MATTERS, TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS AND ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION, THE STANDING AND PARKING LAWS, AND THE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC LIGHTS AND SIGNALS ON PUBLIC STREETS AND HIGHWAYS. THE SECOND HALF OF THIS BOOK DEALS WITH THE SPANISH MUNICIPAL POLICE AND ITS FUNCTION AS A PUBLIC SERVICE. TOPICS DISCUSSED INCLUDE POLICE ORGANIZATION, FUNCTIONS, RULES AND REGULATIONS, AND DISCIPLINE. SPAIN'S MUNICIPAL POLICE ORGANIZATION IS ALSO COMPARED TO THAT OF FRANCE, ENGLAND, AND THE UNITED STATES.
