Abstract
The United States Sentencing Commission Guidelines Manual is divided into eight chapters: (1) Introduction and General Application Principles; (2) Offense Conduct (offenses against the person; offenses involving property, public officials, drugs, criminal enterprises and racketeering, fraud or deceit, prostitution, sexual exploitation of minors, and obscenity, individual rights, administration of justice, public safety, immigration, naturalization, and passports, national defense, food, drugs, agricultural products, and odometer laws, prisons and correctional facilities, the environment; antitrust offenses; money laundering and monetary transaction reporting; offenses involving taxation; other offenses); (3) Adjustments; (4) Criminal History and Criminal Livelihood; (5) Determining the Sentence (including a sentencing table); (6) Sentencing Procedures and Plea Agreements; (7) Violation of Probation and Supervised Release; and (8) Sentencing of Organizations.
