This manual provides a performance-based law enforcement training curriculum to teach California peace officers how to handle unusual occurrences.
Abstract
The first module covers actions required of an officer confronted with unusual occurrences including electrical wire damage, malfunctioning traffic signals, hazardous road conditions, damage to fire hydrants, and gas leaks. Other sections outline an officer's initial responsibilities in dealing with the scene of an air crash, major vehicle accident or disaster scene; handling a situation involving explosives; extinguishing fires; and searching a burning building.
