Many who have commented on the state of criminal justice education have emphasized the need for a consideration of ethics in criminal justice curricula.
Abstract
This article describes one mechanism for dealing with ethical issues, 'the unfinished story.' This approach attempts to force the students to resolve some of the dilemmas that may be inherent in some elements of police work while also working on their writing skills. The strengths and pitfalls of such an approach are also discussed. It is concluded that such an approach may well be worth considering by others who teach in the field. (Author abstract)
