THIS PAMPHLET IS ONE OF A SERIES OF REPORTS OF THE UTAH COUNCIL ON CRIMINAL JUSTICE ADMINISTRATION. THE STANDARDS AND RECOMMENDATIONS CONTAINED IN THESE REPORTS ARE BASED LARGELY ON THE WORK OF THE NATIONAL ADVISORY COMMISSION ON CRIMINAL JUSTICE STANDARDS AND GOALS. RECOMMENDATIONS ARE PROVIDED ON SUCH AREAS AS USE OF BUILDING DESIGN AND MINIMUM SECURITY REQUIREMENTS TO REDUCE CRIME; STREET LIGHTING PROGRAMS FOR HIGH CRIME AREAS; AUTO THEFT PREVENTION PROGRAMS AND LEGISLATION; AND LAW ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITIES TO PROMOTE CITIZEN CRIME PREVENTION. FOR EACH RECOMMENDATION, THE STATUS OF UTAH WITH RESPECT TO THE RECOMMENDATION AND METHODS OF IMPLEMENTATION ARE DISCUSSED. THIS SERIES OF PAMPHLETS INCLUDES NCJ-40697 THROUGH 40701....DMC
