Abstract
The Massachusetts Boot Camp combines military bearing and immediate positive corrective actions for the purpose of punishing and rehabilitating young offenders, and relieving prison overcrowding. Super Learning Techniques is based on the premise that young offenders' minds will retain faster and more if their bodies are operating effectively. Thus, they will develop more significant and thorough behavioral change. The techniques include mind mapping, therapeutic music, relaxation exercises, personal journals, decisionmaking procedures, use of symbolic signs, slogans, and musical themes. All programming is cofacilitated by drill instructors and professional staff. Tables, references
