Abstract
THREE CATEGORIES OF STUDENTS WERE CHOSEN FOR THIS STUDY: WELL ADJUSTED SOCIALLY, MODERATELY WELL ADJUSTED SOCIALLY, AND SOCIALLY MALADJUSTED OR MALADAPTIVE. IT WAS PREDICTED THAT THE GROUP OF TEACHERS WOULD CORRESPOND MOST CLOSELY TO THE MIDDLE GROUP, AND CONTRAST WITH THE OTHER TWO. THIS PREDICTION, HOWEVER, DID NOT FULLY BEAR OUT. PARTICIPANTS IN THE SURVEY WERE ASKED TO RANK THEMSELVES ACCORDING TO 18 PERSONALITY CHARACTERISTICS. THE RESULTS SHOWED CONSIDERABLE OVERLAP OF CERTAIN CHARACTERISTICS. APPENDICES INCLUDE BACKGROUND FORMS FOR THE TEACHERS THAT PARTICIPATED, AND VALUE RANKINGS FOR THE STUDENTS AND TEACHERS....BS
