Abstract
SOME OF THE CONCLUSIONS WHICH CAN BE DRAWN FROM SUCH EXAMINATIONS AND COMPARISONS INCLUDE - (1) ACTION BEING TAKEN BY THE DRIVER AT THE TIME OF IMPACT, (2) DETERMINATION OF WHO WAS DRIVING IN CRASHES WITH TWO OR MORE OCCUPANTS IN A SINGLE VEHICLE, AND (3) DETERMINATION OF FINAL ACTIONS OF THE DRIVERS IN TWO-CAR COLLISIONS. SEVERAL CASES ARE CITED TO DEMONSTRATE THE IMPORTANCE OF THIS TYPE OF INVESTIGATION. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT MODIFIED)
