THE SECTION ON VICTIM/WITNESS SERVICES CITES 26 ARTICLES, BOOKS, AND REPORTS ON THE NEED FOR VICTIM/WITNESS SERVICES; THE FUNCTIONS OF SUCH SERVICES IN PROVIDING PROTECTIVE, SUPPORTIVE, AND EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE; IMPLEMENTATION OF SERVICES TO ASSIST RAPE VICTIMS, BATTERED WIVES, AND OTHER VULNERABLE VICTIMS; THE ELEMENTS OF EFFECTIVE PROGRAMS; AND THE EVALUATION OF SPECIFIC PROGRAMS.
