DETAILED TECHNICAL DISCUSSION ON THE OPERATION OF VIDEO RECORDING FOR COURT APPLICATIONS.
Abstract
THIS VOLUME PROVIDES EXTENSIVE TECHNICAL INFORMATION AND EXPERIENCED-BASED RECOMMENDATIONS TO COURT USERS INVOLVED WITH VIDEO SYSTEM DESIGN, SELECTION AND OPERATION. DISCUSSION IS CONFINED TO RECORDING IN THE LEGAL ENVIRONMENT USING 1/2 INCH VIDEO TAPE RECORDING EQUIPMENT, CONSISTENT WITH RECOMMENDATIONS FOR STANDARDIZATION FOUND IN VOLUME II, USERS GUIDE TO PERFORMANCE STANDARDS AND EQUIPMENT COSTS. THIS VOLUME PRESENTS A DETAILED TECHNICAL DISCUSSION OF THE OPERATION OF VIDEO SYSTEM COMPONENTS, DESCRIBES EQUIPMENT FEATURES, AND INCLUDES ANALYSES OF INDIVIDUAL EQUIPMENT MODELS FOR MAJOR SYSTEM COMPONENTS (CAMERAS, MONITORS, AND VIDEO TAPE RECORDERS). SINGLE CAMERA AND MULTI-CAMERA VIDEO RECORDING SYSTEM DESIGN AND USE ARE DEVELOPED, AS IS DESIGN AND SELECTION OF THE AUDIO SUBSYSTEM.
