Abstract
THIS REPORT PROVIDES A FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION OF THE DESIGN OF THE PERSONNEL SYSTEM AND SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS AND LISTS INPUT INFORMATION AND DATA SOURCES, DATA REQUIREMENTS, AND DATA BASE SPECIFICATIONS. CHARTS DEPICTING THE MAJOR PROCESSING STEPS AS WELL AS AN OVERALL SYSTEM VIEW ARE ALSO INCLUDED. THE SIX BASIC TYPES OF REPORTS DESIGNED FOR THIS SYSTEM ARE: STAFFING STATUS BY ORGANIZATION; STAFFING SUMMARY BY ORGANIZATION AND BY MONTH; STAFFING STATUS BY CLASSIFICATION/FUNCTION; STAFFING SUMMARY BY CLASSIFICATION/FUNCTION, BY MONTH; STAFFING DISTRIBUTION BY CLASSIFICATION/FUNCTION; AND SUMMARY PERSONNEL INFORMATION FOR SUPERVISORS.
