Abstract
THE PURPOSE OF THE WASHINGTON GROUP HOMES IS TO PROVIDE A HOMELIKE SETTING FOR YOUTHS, UNDER COMMITMENT TO THE DIVISION OF JUVENILE REHABILITATION, WHO LACK HOMES OR WHOSE HOME LIFE IS INADEQUATE. THE INTRODUCTORY MATERIAL DISCUSSES GROUP HOME PHILOSOPHY PLACEMENT PROCEDURES, RECREATION, SPECIAL LEAVES AND HOME VISITS, AND THE ROLE OF THE JUVENILE PAROLE COUNSELOR. THE FOLLOWING MATERIAL FOCUSES THE OPERATIONS OF THE WOODINVILLE, SUNRISE, OAKRIDGE, CANYON VIEW, AND PIONEER GROUP HOMES.
