THE AUTHOR, A CAMPUS SECURITY CONSULTANT AND OFFICER OF THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY SECURITY DIRECTORS, URGES COLLEGES TO DEVELOP THEIR OWN SECURITY AGENCIES RATHER THAN RELY ON CONTRACT GUARDS.
