Abstract
THE TIME SYSTEM IS A DATA COMMUNICATIONS FUNCTION THAT SERVES ALL STATE AND LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES IN WISCONSIN. THE SYSTEM IS INTERFACED TO THE AUTOMATED FILES OF NUMEROUS AGENCIES, INCLUDING THE WISCONSIN CRIME INFORMATION BUREAU, DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, AND THE NATIONAL CRIME INFORMATION CENTER. PLANS CALL FOR INTERFACING TIME WITH AN EIGHT STATE AUTOMATED LAW ENFORCEMENT COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM.
