REPORT HIGHLIGHTS PROGRESS OF PROJECT DEALING WITH REDUCTION OF HOSTILITY AMONG ETHNIC GROUPS AND WITH PREVENTION OF JUVENILE DELINQUENCY.
Abstract
THIS EVALUATION REPORT IS FOR THE PERIOD FROM APRIL 1976 THROUGH JUNE 1976. VISITS WERE MADE TO PROJECT SITES IN PHILADELPHIA AND POTTSTOWN. THE EVALUATORS FOUND THAT THE WOODROCK STAFF IS COMPETENT AND ENTHUSIASTIC, THAT THEY HAVE GREAT RAPPORT WITH YOUTH, AND THAT EACH ONE IS WILLING TO ASSIST OTHERS IN THE SUCCESSFUL OPERATION OF THE PROJECT. THE PROJECT DIRECTOR AND HIS STAFF ARE CONTINUALLY EVALUATING THEIR ACTIVITIES AND DEVELOPING THOSE INVOLVED WITH THE PROJECT. THE REPORT RECOMMENDED THE RENTING OF OFFICE SPACE IN THE INNER CITY AND HIRING MORE FULL-TIME STAFF....BS
