This second interim report presents information on the possible creation and implementation of jobs as an alternative to incarceration for persons convicted of crimes.
Abstract
Initial job offers have been made, but they have been rejected by the Dutch justice authorities. The reasons why justice officials view these jobs negatively, the reluctance of the management of various organizations to provide jobs as an alternative to prison, and the views of convicts themselves are discussed.
