WYOMING'S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF JUVENILE DELINQUENCY.
Abstract
THE PURPOSE OF THE PLAN IS TO ANALYZE THE EXISTING RESOURCES, TO IDENTIFY THE INADEQUACIES AND NEEDS OF THE CURRENT WYOMING SYSTEM OF JUVENILE JUSTICE AND MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT OF THAT SYSTEM. THE PLAN, SURVEYS THE STATE'S OVERALL JUVENILE JUSTICE SYSTEM, STUDIES THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN YOUTH, EMPLOYMENT AND DELINQUENCY AND THE METHODS OF IMPROVING EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTHS, AND SUMMARIZES THE DISCUSSIONS AT THE WYOMING WHITE HOUSE CONFERENCE ON CHILDREN AND YOUTH.
