Abstract
THE CODE OF ETHICS REFERRED TO IS THE ONE PROMULGATED BY THE CALIFORNIA PEACE OFFICER'S ASSOCIATION AND ADOPTED BY THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CHIEFS OF POLICE. MANY POTENTIALLY COMPROMISING SITUATIONS ARE PRESENTED. FOR EACH ONE, THREE CHOICES ARE GIVEN. EACH CHOICE REFERS THE READER TO AN APPROPRIATE PAGE ON WHICH THE RIGHT OR WRONG REASONS FOR MAKING THAT CHOICE ARE EXPLAINED. IF THE CORRECT RESPONSE IS CHOSEN. THE READER IS REFERRED TO THE NEXT SITUATION. IF THE INCORRECT RESPONSE IS CHOSEN, HE IS ASKED TO GO BACK AND TRY AGAIN.
