This workbook was designed for training volunteer administrators and others interested in evaluating a volunteer program in criminal justice.
Abstract
The checklists cover volunteer program integration within the agency, planning, volunteer screening and training, public relations, and evaluation. A scoring system for clarifying individual ratings is provided. Alternatives for program evaluation are also presented, including brainstorming, sharing results with others inside and outside the program, and developing a more individualized, program-specific evaluation.
