SUMMARY OF A RESEARCH PROJECT STUDYING ADOLESCENT BEHAVIOR IN ILLINOIS THROUGH A QUESTIONNAIRE SURVEY OF YOUTH TO MEASURE THE INCIDENCE OF DELINQUENCY AND TO IDENTIFY CORRELATES OF CERTAIN VIOLATIVE BEHAVIOR.
Abstract
THE SURVEY SAMPLE INCLUDED ADOLESCENT YOUTHS 14 TO 18 YEARS OLD RESIDING IN HOUSEHOLDS THROUGHOUT THE STATE. SURVEY RESULTS FROM THE 3,112 SELF-ADMINISTERED QUESTIONNAIRES WERE PRESENTED IN SIX VOLUMES ANALYZING SURVEY DATA FOR ONE TYPE OF VIOLATIVE BEHAVIOR INCLUDING ADOLESCENT VIOLENCE, THEFT, IMPROPRIETY, DRUG USE, ALCOHOL USE, AND AUTO VIOLATIONS. DEFINITIONS OF TERMS AND MEASURES USED IN THE QUESTIONNAIRE ARE PRESENTED AND INDIVIDUAL REPORTS ARE SUMMARIZED.
