DESCRIPTION OF THE OBJECTIVES AND OPERATION OF THIS CRISIS INTERVENTION CENTER WHICH SPECIALIZES IN PROVIDING IN-PERSON SHORT-TERM COUNSELING (UP TO THREE SESSIONS), INFORMATION, AND REFERRAL.
Abstract
TARGET CLIENTELE INCLUDES ANY ADOLESCENT/YOUNG ADULT (AGE 12 TO 23) OR INDIVIDUAL WITH AN ADOLESCENT/YOUNG ADULT-RELATED PROBLEM REGARDLESS OF THE DEGREE OF SEVERITY. THIS DOCUMENT, AN APPLICATION FOR THE YOUTH CONTACT CENTER'S CANDIDACY AS AN EXEMPLARY PROJECT, CONSISTS OF A COMPLETED APPLICATION FORM, CENTER PROJECT REPORTS, A COPY OF THE CENTER 1974-75 BUDGET STATEMENT, A 1974 FOLLOW-UP STUDY OF 318 ADOLESCENT FIRST OFFENDERS COUNSELED AT THE CENTER, AND AN INFORMATIONAL BOOKLET ON THE ADVISORY CENTER FOR TEENS, THE PROJECT'S ADMINISTERING AGENCY.
