The purpose of this web page is to provide a central location for OJP’s award recipients (including cooperative agreement recipients and subrecipients) and contractors that conduct training sessions, meetings, or conferences to access conference cost policy guidance and supporting materials, resources, and job aids. These guidance documents are designed to support OMB’s efforts of eliminating excess conference spending and promoting efficiency in government.
These policies and guidance documents promote OJP’s commitment to comply with the Department of Justice conference policy and to make sure that our dollars are being spent efficiently and wisely, and support the:
- Executive Order on Promoting Efficient Spending (EO 13589);
- Executive Order on Delivering an Efficient, Effective, and Accountable Government (EO 13576);
- Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Memorandum on Eliminating Excess Conference Spending and Promoting Efficiency in Government (M-11-35 - PDF); and OMB Memorandum on Promoting Efficient Spending to Support Agency Operations (M-12-12 - PDF) and OMB M-17-08 which amends M-12-12 (M-17-08 - PDF)
