The Community Corrections section of the BJS website provides information about and access to BJS statistical resources regarding individuals on probation or parole.

Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS): Corrections Statistical Analysis Tool (CSAT) - Parole
This dynamic analysis tool allows for the examination of data collected by the Annual Parole Survey on persons sentenced as adults. It includes parolees who were conditionally released to parole supervision by parole board decision, by mandatory conditional release, through other types of post-custody conditional supervision, or as the result of a sentence to a term of supervised release.

CrimeSolutions
The National Institute of Justice's CrimeSolutions website is meant to help practitioners and policymakers understand what works in justice-related programs and practices, including programs and practices related to corrections/reentry.

Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP): Reentry Services Division
BOP's Reentry Services Division provides enhanced oversight and direction in the area of reentry, focusing on programming and community resource transition.

National Institute of Corrections (NIC)
An agency within the U.S. Department of Justice, NIC provides training, technical assistance, information services, and policy/program development assistance to federal, state, and local corrections agencies. National Institute of Justice (NIJ)
NIJ is the research, development and evaluation agency of the U.S. Department of Justice and is dedicated to researching crime control and justice issues. See the Reentry page for topical research and resources.

National Inventory of the Collateral Consequences of Conviction (NICCC)
Part of the National Reentry Resource Center, the NICCC is an online searchable database that identifies and categorizes the statutes and regulations that impose collateral consequences in all 50 states, the federal system, and the District of Columbia, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.

National Parole Resource Center (NPRC)
Funded in part by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, NPRC serves as a source of information, training, and technical assistance for paroling authorities and the supervision agencies that they oversee and with whom they collaborate.

National Reentry Resource Center (NRRC)
Sponsored by the Bureau of Justice Assistance and Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, NRRC provides education, training, and technical assistance to states, tribes, territories, local governments, service providers, nonprofit organizations, and corrections agencies working on the reintegration of individuals to the community.

Office for Victims of Crime (OVC): Victim Notification
The OVC Victim Notification page provides information about services available to victims of crime to help them stay informed when case events take place, such as the release of the accused back into the community.

Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP)
Through its divisions, OJJDP sponsors research, program, and training initiatives; develops priorities and goals and sets policies to guide federal juvenile justice issues; disseminates information about juvenile justice issues; and awards funds to states to support local programming.

Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP): Model Programs Guide (MPG)

Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP): Statistical Briefing Book (SBB)
The OJJDP SBB site enables users to access online information to learn more about juvenile crime and victimization and about youth involved in the juvenile justice system. See the Juvenile Reentry and Aftercare page for topical information and data.

Office of Sex Offender Sentencing, Monitoring, Apprehending, Registering, and Tracking (SMART)
This mission of the SMART Office is to assist with the implementation of the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act and provide assistance to criminal justice professionals across the entire spectrum of sex offender management activities needed to ensure public safety.

Special Feature: Community Corrections
The Community Corrections Special Feature contains information for personnel working in the community corrections field, provides resources on the management of individuals in the community, and shares access to data on those on probation or parole.

Transitioning From Incarceration
This Social Security Administration site is designed to assist those transitioning from incarceration back into the community.

U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ): Victim Notification System (VNS)
DOJ's VNS is a cooperative effort between the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the United States Postal Inspection Service, the United States Attorneys' offices, and the Federal Bureau of Prisons. It is a free, automated system that can be used by victims of federal crime to learn about events associated with their case, including the release of defendants into the community.

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs: Health Care for Re-entry Veterans (HCRV) Program
The HCRV Program is designed to address the community re-entry needs of veterans through services such as:

• Outreach and pre-release assessments services for veterans in prison.
• Referrals and linkages to medical, psychiatric, and social services, including employment services upon release.
• Short term case management assistance upon release.

Youth.gov: Reentry
The Reentry section of the Youth.gov site captures research and resources related to the return of young people to their families and communities from residential placement facilities.
