Innovative Programs To Prevent School Violence
The Safe Communities Safe Schools (SCSS) Model by the University of Colorado Boulder's Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence offers a comprehensive, data-driven approach to improving school safety and community well-being. Funded by a nearly $2 million Bureau of Justice Assistance grant, SCSS is training staff at 40 new schools, successfully transforming school environments through tailored plans and ongoing support.

National Center for School Safety (NCSS)
NCSS is the Bureau of Justice Assistance’s STOP Program National Training and Technical Assistance provider and is a multidisciplinary, multi-institutional center focused on improving school safety and preventing school violence.
