CrimeSolutions
The National Institute of Justice's CrimeSolutions website uses rigorous research to inform practitioners and policy makers about what works in criminal justice, juvenile justice, and crime victim services. On CrimeSolutions, you will find reviews of specific programs and practices that focus on a variety of justice topics and populations, including women and girls.

Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP): Female Offenders
This section of the BOP site highlights the facilities that house females as well as the programs and services that are designed to meet their physical, social, and psychological needs.

National Institute of Corrections (NIC)
NIC provides training, technical assistance, and policy/program development assistance to corrections agencies. Included on the NIC site is the National Directory of Programs for Women with Criminal Justice Involvement, a database for correctional stakeholders that covers topical areas such as parenting programs and substance abuse and/or behavioral health.

National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA): Women and Sex/Gender Differences Research Program
The mission of this NIDA program is to promote the conduct, translation, and dissemination of drug abuse and behavioral health research on sex/gender differences and issues specific to women.

National Violence Against Women Resource Center
This website, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is designed to be useful to scientists, practitioners, advocates, grassroots organizations, and others interested in current topics related to violence against women and its prevention.

Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP)
Through its divisions, OJJDP sponsors research, program, and training initiatives; develops priorities and goals and sets policies to guide federal juvenile justice issues; disseminates information about juvenile justice issues; and awards funds to states to support local programming.

Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) Model Programs Guide (MPG)
MPG is designed to assist practitioners and communities in implementing evidence-based prevention and intervention programs that can make a difference in the lives of children and communities. The MPG database of evidence-based programs covers the entire continuum of youth services from prevention through sanctions to reentry, including programs that focus on girls.

Office on Violence Against Women (OVW)
OVW provides federal leadership in developing the national capacity to reduce violence against women and administer justice for and strengthen services to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA): Data and Dissemination
