Abstract
THE REPORT COVERS THE PROGRAMS CONDUCTED, EXPENDITURES MADE, RESULTS ACHIEVED, PLANS DEVELOPED, AND PROBLEMS DISCOVERED IN THE OPERATION AND COORDINATION OF FEDERAL EFFORTS IN LAW ENFORCEMENT AND CRIME CONTROL. THE REPORT, COMPILED PURSUANT TO SECTION 670 OF THE CRIME CONTROL ACT OF 1976 (P.L. 94-503), IS INTENDED TO PROVIDE MEMBERS OF CONGRESS WITH INFORMATION OF USE IN ASSESSING FEDERAL PERFORMANCE IN THE AREAS OF LAW ENFORCEMENT AND CRIME CONTROL.
