These sample contract clauses are intended to advise police management negotiators of the proper form to follow in drafting a collective bargaining contract, as well as of the content of clauses ensuring efficient agency operation, while also providing police employees with optimum economic and job condition benefits. Texts of the collective bargaining contract clauses are accompanied by commentary on their purpose and intent.
