Abstract
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS ARE GIVEN FOR PRESENTING MATERIAL ON THE IMPORTANCE OF COMMUNICATIONS IN THE MANAGEMENT PROCESS, THE ROLE OF THE GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE IN GIVING THE EMPLOYEE A HEARING, VARIOUS APPROACHES TO PROCESSING A GRIEVANCE, COMMON STEPS IN GRIEVANCE PROCEDURES, PROCEDURAL ASPECTS, AND METHODS FOR ASSURING SATISFACTION FOR BOTH SIDES. HANDOUTS FOR PARTICIPANTS INCLUDE A SERIES OF COMMON SUPERVISORY PROBLEMS WITH DISCUSSION AND RULING ON WHETHER OR NOT THIS CHANGE SHOULD HAVE GONE THROUGH THE UNION REPRESENTATIVE.
