THE AUTHOR DISCUSSES THE VELOCITY AND IMPACT QUALITIES OF HOLLOWPOINT PISTOL AMMUNITION, EXPLAINING THEIR INCREASED STOPPING POWER OVER THE ALL LEAD BULLET NOW COMMONLY USED IN POLICE DEPARTMENTS.
Abstract
HE ALSO POINTS OUT THAT HOLLOW-POINT BULLETS DO NOT DESTROY OR MUTILATE VITAL ORGANS ANY MORE THAN SOLIDPOINT BULLETS, NOR DO THEY FRAGMENT OR 'BLOW UP' IN THE BODY.
