SUBSEQUENT SECTIONS COVER RELATED CORRECTIONAL AGENCIES AND THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE JUDICIARY AND THE PROBATION SYSTEM. THE PHILOSOPHY AND ROLE OF PROBATION IS EMPHASIZED THROUGHOUT. THE APPENDIX CONTAINS 17 ARTICLES COMMENTING ON VARIOUS CORRECTIONAL ISSUES. A READING LIST IS ATTACHED.
