Abstract
THE ROUTINE PROCEDURES OF THE STATE PRISON SYSTEM THAT MOST CLOSELY AFFECT THE EVERYDAY LIVES OF THE MAJORITY OF INMATES ARE DESCRIBED. THESE INCLUDE DISCIPLINARY HEARINGS, THE ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES FOR DECIDING THE LENGTH OF INDETERMINATE SENTENCES, AND PAROLE HEARINGS.
