Abstract
THE INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNIQUES DISCUSSED ARE BASED ON THE THREE COMPONENTS OF THE 'TEACHING TRIAD' - DETERMINING 'WHAT' THE STUDENT IS TO LEARN, THE TECHNIQUES AND METHODS ('HOW') TO BE USED TO HELP THE STUDENT LEARN, AND 'IF' THE STUDENT HAS LEARNED WHAT HE WAS SUPPOSED TO LEARN. INSTRUCTOR CHARACTERISTICS ARE ALSO BRIEFLY DISCUSSED.
