Abstract
CRITERIA USED FOR SELECTING A SIDE ARM ARE (1) THAT IT BE EFFECTIVE FOR THE INTENDED PURPOSE, (2) THAT IT POSE A MINIMUM OF HAZARD TO INNOCENT BY-STANDERS, AND (3) THAT IT BE ACCEPTABLE IN THE LIGHT OF PUBLIC RELATIONS.
