Abstract
THESE APPENDIXES ACCOMPANY THE PROFILE REPORT, WHICH WAS PRODUCED BY EXPERIENCED AUDITORS AND INVESTIGATORS FROM MOST OF THE OFFICES OF INSPECTOR GENERAL, FACILITATED BY TRAINING SPECIALISTS FROM THE TRAINING CONSULTING DIVISION, OFFICE OF PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT (NCJ 68584). THE STUDY AIMED AT DETERMINING WHAT MUST BE LEARNED TO ENABLE AND AUDITOR/INVESTIGATOR TO PERFORM EFFECTIVELY IN THE INSPECTOR GENERAL FUNCTION, THE CATEGORIES OF PEOPLE WHO SHOULD RECEIVE SUCH KNOWLEDGE, AND THE BEST WAYS FOR TEACHING IT SUCH KNOWLEDGE.
